Florida is full of amazing places that become a perfect fit when it comes to field trips. Interacting with the Animals
The SeaWorld is providing tons of opportunities to the visitors for interacting with the animals. The park is full of alligators, flamingos, sea turtles and manatees strolling around. There is a special dolphin nursery around which is meant for the mothers, who wish to take care of their newborns. The shark encounter is also a nice experience where you have a glass tunnel that surrounds you with sharks. There is another tank that is filled with exotic rays and it would be a once in a lifetime experience to interact with such exotic sea creatures.
Throughout the day, different animal shows keep on happening. The sea mammals have extraordinary abilities and intelligence. There is a special show organized at the SeaWorld, which features killer whales. Other shows include Blue Horizon that features dolphins, and Clyde and Seamore’s Sea Lion high that features sea lions and much more. If you want to make your young students have a closer look at the animals then you can pay a minimum amount of fee and let them feed the animals. The animals that are available for feeding include sea lions, dolphins, seals, and stingrays.
Other than this, there are behind-the-scene-tours too, which are meant for pleasing the young audience. You will be taken to see the killer whales, penguins and dolphins and learn how they are fed, what is their habit and much more about their environment. The best thing is that you will have animal encounter when will be riding. Let the students get onboard the roller coaster mantra, which will take them to the mantra rays. Another famous ride is Antarctica, which would take the passengers into a freezing room that is full of penguins.
The focus of the SeaWorld is animal recuse. Over the past 50 years, the park authorities have been successful in resourcing 26,000 animals which include sea turtles, manatees and dolphins.
HaveFun with the Rides
SeaWorld Orland is home to the best and the most thrilling roller coasters. Mako is the roller coaster which is known to be longest, highest and fastest ride. Other most famous roller coasters of the park are Manta and Kraken.
When you will go on the journey to Atlantis, it will be like you have landed into the splash mountain in Disney. There are 3 rides and all of them will make you soak into water.
At the center of the park, there is a 400 ft. observation tower, which is called the Sky Tower. It has a 4 feet tall ride, which takes you to the top view. Other than these thrilling roller coasters, there are plenty of rides for kids too such as plash pad, miniature train, coaster, carousel, etc. In case you are taking the young audience to the Park, then you will find safe rides for their amusement as well.
Special Events
That is not all; the SeaWorld organizes plenty of special events throughout the year. These include food festivals, concerts, Halloween events, Christmas celebration and much more. Different events are organized based on time of the month. There are special attractions for kids in the theme park such as polar express, countdown to Christmas, Sesame Street and many more.
Other Places to Visit
The SeaWorld is home to plenty of other spectacular places which you would like to visit such as the Aquatica Water Park and the Discovery Cove. You can have a real-time experience with the sea creatures through these exhibits. They are not best for kids however.
