Epcot is the second of four theme parks built at Walt Disney World in Bay Lake, Florida. The other three theme parks of Walt Disney World included the Disney Animal Kingdom, Disney Hollywood Studio, and Disney Magic Kingdom. Disney Apcot is located near the city of Orlando. It was opened in 1982 with the name APCOT Center (Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow). Disney Apcot spans over more than 300 acres of land. Disney Apcot is more than twice the size of the Magic Kingdom Park.
It is dedicated to the celebration of human achievement, namely technological innovation and international culture, and is often referred to as a “permanent World’s Fair.” The park hosted more than 11.98 million visitors in just 2015 alone; ranking it the 3rd most visited theme park in North America and the 6th most visited theme park in the world.
In essence, Disney Apcot is a remarkable place. It is just like a heaven for those who love the technology, technological innovation, and international culture. For school students, there is a lot to learn in Disney Apcot. That is why Disney Animal Apcot is the most favorite destination for school field trips. We recommend this place for your next field trip.
