Group subways to lower Manhattan and takes the ferry to The Statue of Liberty a 240-foot high monument of freedom which greets newcomers from NY Harbor
Ellis Island - museum on the site of one of the primary gateways into America for millions of immigrants
Lunch: Ellis Island Area
Wall Street Area - America's financial center, and home to the New York Stock Exchange, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, and Chase Manhattan Bank
South Street Seaport
Dinner: Chinatown
Chinatown
New York's largest Chinese community, includes interesting shops and many fine restaurants
Little Italy - home to the largest Italian- American population in Manhattan
Empire State Building - Observatory
