Jurassic Park Discovery Center
Within the celebrated gates of the Jurassic Park Discovery Center, guests find a variety of entertaining and educational opportunities. From the skeletal remains of a massive T-Rex to the laboratories where biochemists develop the technology to bring these prehistoric creatures to life, guests have never been this close to the mysteries of these ancient beasts. The Discovery Center features an interactive opportunity to create a dinosaur via DNA Sequencing (in the 'Jurassic Park' films, the dinosaurs were brought to life from DNA drawn from mosquitoes fossilized in amber). Guests are able to draw Dino-DNA from a fossilized mosquito and mix it with their own DNA via a touchscreen to create a one-of-a-kind creature based in part on their own genetic code, This interactive center also allows guests to watch a seemingly real Raptor being hatched in one of the many demonstration areas.
Jurassic Park River Adventure
This phenomenal interactive ride adventure thrusts guests into the living, breathing, three-dimensional worm of Jurassic Park. a land where stormy skies are pierced by colossal five-story dinosaurs that move within inches of awe-struck faces. On the River Adventure ride, guests discover that they have become prey for the terrifying Tyrannosaurus Rex, as they are unrelentingly hunted by the most fearsome creature ever to prowl the Earth. Moving faster, more fluidly and more realistically than any previous 'animatronic,' these beasts come within inches of guests' faces. Riders not only get a frighteningly close-up look at 'living' dinosaurs, they also experience a treacherous 85-foot plunge, straight down the longest, fastest, steepest water descent ever built.
