Well we managed to make it happen again! The kids had a great time, despite the rain that we had to deal with. I know they got a lot out of the trip and just wanted to thank you so much for working with us during the payment period and being understanding of the struggles some of our parents were facing in getting that money in. You're flexibility was a great relief for them and made it possible for the students to experience this great opportunity. We were satisfied with pretty much every aspect of the trip. The bus company that you used was very professional and we were happy with them, and I just wanted to make sure that the drivers got tipped. You guys handle that for us right?? If not, let me know and I'll deal with it. We're on spring break now - so we won't be back at school for a week. All of my teachers were TIRED when we got back so we're all going to be resting up. As for next year, I'm planning to offer the trip as usual, but the turnout could be lower and we'll just be working on a smaller scale. I'd like to go ahead and request the following guides again: Joan Bell (was WONDERFUL), Shannon Mikush, Catherina Ford (I missed her so much!!), Don Lombard, and Alexandra Tryon. From what I could see, Ms. Kahn was just a little abrasive when talking with the students. Shannon was actually my guide, and she was great, but I missed Catherina and would love to get her again if she's available. We'll be looking at approximately the same time period next year - or maybe a little later in April. I'd like the weather to be warmer, so maybe mid-April. I'll get back to you when I get back and am able to talk with my administration. Just wanted to thank you again for all of your help. The kids had a great time, which was the most important thing, and that made it all worth it!
